Your Actual Grade counts everything you haven't done yet as a zero, so falling behind hurts even when your scores are good. Plan a steady schedule, and when a lesson doesn't make sense, SnoopSolve walks you through it step by step.
Oldest work first: those are the zeros counting against you.

From a backlog to a steady schedule.
"Two semesters to make up in eleven weeks. My actual grade was in the forties because of missing work, not bad scores. Once I worked through the backlog steadily, I was back on track."
"Six weeks to redo a full year of English. I kept to a schedule, finished with four days spare, and I wasn't up at 3am to do it."
"I stopped losing whole evenings to a single stuck question. That's the whole difference between catching up and giving up."
"I was three units behind in October. I wasn't by November."

What your grade is actually doing, and how to plan around it
This catches out almost everybody. Edgenuity shows two numbers. Your Overall Grade is your performance on work you've actually submitted. Your Actual Grade also counts everything you haven't done yet as a zero: roughly, your completion against target completion, multiplied by your overall grade. The Actual Grade is the one that flows to your report card and eligibility checks, so being behind on pace damages your grade even when every score you've earned is good.
Work from your target completion. Count the lessons you have left, divide by the school days left, and set a daily number you can actually keep. A little every day keeps your completion close to target, which keeps your Actual Grade close to your Overall Grade, and it leaves room for the lessons that take longer to understand.
It depends on the backlog, and most courses have assessments your teacher has to unlock, so the gating sets the timeline as much as the work does. What works is a steady routine: a set number of lessons a day, oldest first, and when a question stops you, a step-by-step explanation so you understand it rather than losing an evening to it.
Oldest unfinished work first, because those are the zeros dragging your Actual Grade down. It's also worth messaging your teacher early about anything locked behind teacher review, so the unlock isn't what's holding you up at the deadline, and asking which activity types carry weight in your course: quizzes, tests and exams are weighted, and some activities don't influence the grade at all.
Message your teacher when you're approaching one. When an assessment is locked pending teacher review, that lock lives on your school's side of the system rather than in your browser, so only your teacher can open it. Asking early keeps it from holding you up at the deadline.
Every unfinished item in your course counts against your Actual Grade. Plan a steady pace, and let SnoopSolve explain the questions that stall you as you work through them.
